Overview


Geolux RSS-2-300 S is a Doppler radar detector operating in K-band. Designed for long range intrusion detection applications, RSS-2-300 S radar sensor reports a list of all currently detected moving objects distanced up to 800m. Refresh rate can be set up to 20 times per second. Detected objects are reported over serial or CAN interface. RSS-2-300 S sensor supports ASCII-S and GLX-NMEA serial interface data protocols, and support for more protocols can be added on customer request. Two configurable open-collector alarm outputs are also available for indication of the intrusion detection.
Field-proven Geolux RSS-2-300 S radar sensor is certified according to both European and American standards, which makes it an ideal solution for our partners that operate globally.
Advanced signal processing algorithms analyze detected objects in real time, and extract precise target statistics, greatly reducing false alarms and enabling RSS-2-300S to detect objects even through bushes and other similar obstacles.

Radar Configurator Software

Geolux RSS-2-300 Sradar sensor has integrated web-based utility for configuring radar operation and monitoring detected targets. To use the web-based configuration utility, simply connect the radar to the Ethernet network, and type its IP address to your web browser. The default IP address for Geolux RSS-2-300 S radar is 192.168.1.120. Take care that, when conecting the radar to the Ethernet for the first time, your local Ethernet network must be in the same subnet (addresses starting with 192.168.1.x).

Using a web-based user interface provides maximum flexibility, since the users can connect to the radar and configure it from any platform (Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, iOS). Preferred web browsers are Chrome and Safari.
